For Nocts

[Mid-afternoon. Much later than Ignis usually sleeps. His brain hooks into the here-and-now, and groans. Well, his headache is gone, as is his hangover, but he just missed an entire morning.

Thank god it's his 'day off.' Of course, being Noctis' advisor means no real days off after all.

Case in point.

Noctis Lucis Caelum, upcoming King of Lucis CXIV, Chosen of the Crystal and Light....is asleep next to him and drooling slightly on the pillow. Heh.

Quietly, gently, Ignis slides out of bed and slips into his en suite bathroom, turning on the shower to warm it up while he brushes his teeth. Noctis will likely sleep right through, anyway. You could set a thunder bomb off under his bed and he wouldn't twitch.]

[Noct wanted to say that he definitively should've done it but the kiss is way better. He doesn't even bother to hold back a groan at how good it feels and he just presses up against Ignis even more. Seriously, he needs to stop holding back with him- Noctis wants all these kisses and way, way more than what he's probably allowed. But he's greedy like that- when it comes to Ignis.]

[Gods, what are they doing? Well, it's too late to question it now, they're way over the line and frankly? This just feels right. It shouldn't, and yet it does. He knows he's setting himself up for inevitable heartbreak, but for now, he's holding on tight.

After a moment, he pulls back again. Doesn't say a word. Simply takes Noctis' hand and leads him over to the sofa. (Not the bedroom. Not yet. Even though he so desperately wants it.)]

Sit with me?

[If his legs didn't feel like jelly before, that kiss definitively turned them into it. Gingerly, he follows after Ignis and tilts his head at the question.

And decides to be a bit daring. If only to see the reaction.

He just climbs in Ignis' lap, leg on each side of his lap and hands on his shoulders. Don't be deceived by that smile.]

...too bold?

[The noise that leaves Ignis' throat is something like a cross between keening need and a huff of disbelief. Noctis Lucis Caelum is straddling his lap. He was doomed. His hands land on Noct's sides, to hold him steady and to keep him in place. It's an automatic gesture at first, but then it's deliberate.]

Erm. Not...no? Erm. Gods. You're going to be the death of me.

[Noct uses the leverage to scoot even more. Astrals, Ignis is cute when he stutters. Usually, he's so well spoken and proper but now? And he is to blame for it? Noct can feel happy tingles go down his back.]

Good. This is more comfortable than the couch.

Oh, please.

[He actually laughs a little at that, because while he's not skin and bones, he's not exactly 'comfortable' either. But he's blushing and laughing again, and his hands are still holding Noct steady. He can feel the tendons in his neck stretching as he tips his head back up to look at his lover...lover. Gods above and below and all the tiny fish in Leviathan's bath, they're lovers.]

You...have any ideas on what to do now that you're comfortable?

[He'll argue with you about that, Specs.

Speaking of, he takes them off Ignis' face and places them on his own head and leans in.]

Well... I do have a few ideas...

[And with a smile, he presses their lips together in a slow kiss. Just relishing in the warmth that it sends through his body. The thought of them being lovers might make Noct into a pile of a blushing, stuttering mess so... perhaps it won't be wise to say it aloud?]

[That's Ignis. Always thinking ahead. Perhaps too far ahead. He doesn't protest the removal of his glasses, although he blinks to refocus. His eyes aren't that bad, he can cope without them, but it does put a bit of a misty fuzz over the scene when they're gone.

His eyes are very wide and very bright as Noct closes the distance once again. Kiss number three, just as amazing if not more so than numbers one and two. It knocks him breathless and thoughtless and he lets his body do the thinking for a change. And so he pulls Noctis closer, chest to chest as they kiss.]

[He doesn't need to look at anything too far away anyway. Noct is right there, in his lap. And probably not going anywhere for a while.

The kiss is kept slow and warm, but the contact and those hands on his hips and around him just sends a very visible shiver down his back. Gods, this feels too good. So good it's almost frightening.]

[His fingers find the hem of the sweater and slip underneath before he can stop himself. He just needs to touch skin. Fingertips glance against Noct's back, and he just groans, this time much louder than before. Well. If this is Ignis when he unhooks his brain and just goes with it, he's a heck of a lot more fun than the stuffy advisor, that's for certain.

Although he's not quite to the point where he's ready to start...moving other actionable body parts. Not yet, anyway. Even if Noctis does feel far too nice, straddled across his lap.]

[The fingers draw out a gasp from Noct which in turn breaks the kiss. Curses, was he this sensitive? Or is it because it's Ignis- a person he wanted to touch him the most? Unfortunately, there was no more space for him to press up against Ignis.

His lips kiss him, gently, the touches feeling like licks of fire dancing over his skin.]

...you're leaving me breathless...

[In every possible way there is.]

Yeah. Same.

[Definitely losing his cool here. In the best possible way. His thumbs are tracing little soft arcs along Noct's sides, while his fingers are splayed out along his back. It's so...soft. So soft and warm and he wants more.]

Suggestion? Let's watch a movie here tonight. I'll go rent us something. Get us whatever ice cream you like.

[Because as lovely as a date sounds, staying in and taking full advantage of this wonderful new thing between them sounds infinitely better.]

[Noct threads his fingers in blond hair, leaning his forehead against Ignis'. He's not sure if Ignis can feel it underneath his fingers, but there are soft shivers whenever he touches a place he didn't before. Gods, it feels good and he doesn't want him to stop anytime soon.]

Sounds like a great idea.

[And after this, Noctis won't be able to help himself from just staring and wanting to kiss him and obviously go against the principles they set just half an hour ago.]

...I can cook with you?

[Ignis tilts his head into those touches. Gods. This is what he's been missing this whole time. He promises himself right then and there that he'll never go drinking alone again, as long as he has this. Although Noct's question raises his eyebrows a little.]

You want to? If you like, absolutely. I could have another go at those pastries, again...maybe with your help I can get them right this time.

[If there's any drinking involved, they should do it together. Again. Maybe it will trick Noct into drinking more of that tomato juice.

...Ignis looks ten times younger without glasses, is what Noct came to realize.]

Sure. [Pause.] I want to knead the dough. [Bad idea. Don't give in Ignis!]

[He pauses for a second, and then can't help snickering just a little. Not maliciously, just a sort of amused little shake of his head.]

You don't really knead pastry dough, Noctis. It doesn't have to prove. It's not like bread.

[Now his whole hand is running along the soft skin of Noct's back, up and down in soothing swipes. His fingers trail along his spine, silently counting and worshiping each bump.]

I'll teach you.

[Wait, what?]

...I've been living a lie. [A maybe too dramatical whisper.

The fingers are a pleasant distraction. If he weren't pressed up like this against Ignis, the might even put him to sleep. Ignis' fingers feel so good on his skin. So calming...]

Yeah, teach me.

[Teach him everything, not just cooking.]

[That just makes Ignis chuckle again, a big, genuine smile on his face. Not the slim, controlled smile everybody else gets. Only Noctis makes him feel like smiling.]

I've been trying to teach you for years. Perhaps now you'll listen.

[His arms move again, pulling Noctis closer still. He never wants to let him go, ever again. Reality will intrude all too soon, but for now...]

Although I do have a confession.

[At this rate, Noct will be the one needing glasses as well, because that smile is a magical as it is blinding. And he wishes he could see it more often.

His cheeks become a bit too much red-] We-Well... it was-- uhh, you were distracting. [He paid more attention to Ignis and him moving around, getting everything ready than the food he was entrusted with.

He blinks- a confession?]

Yeah?

...This.

[He nods slightly to indicate their position, the nice way their bodies match up and meet. The whole thing going on here, too.]

I've never been with anyone like this before. So...I'm not entirely certain what to do. The, erm. Mechanics of it all, I suppose.

[That blush is back. Yup. Ignis is totally a virgin and has deliberately kept his nose out of any other....erm. Extracurricular activities Noctis might have engaged in. So he's not 100% sure if Noct is as well.]

[Well, Noct didn't expect this. The confession only gets raised eyebrows and a head tilt.]

I've been kept in a glass jar, Specs. [As Ignis previously mentioned, the rules restricted him heavily, especially since he lives outside of the Citadel.] The only mechanics I know are from the internet and my fantasies.

[And damn it all, did he have fantasies. Also, all of them included only Ignis and ridiculous places that would real Ignis mark as extremely dangerous (for their public image). Speaking of confessions-]

Besides, I... wasn't really interested in anyone else. I just, [he tilts his head down and hides his completely burning face in Ignis' neck,] I only wanted you...

Oh? Oh.

[Now that was somewhat startling. He was the Prince of Lucis, after all. Surely there had to have been somebody at school...hell, Ignis was half convinced that Noctis lost his virginity to Prompto several years ago. So that was...good.]

Well then. I suppose we'll learn this together. If...if you have any particular fantasies you, erm. You'd like to try...

[So. Much. Blushing.]

[That's a ridiculous thought. He won't blame Ignis for thinking that, and he loves Prompto dearly but... yeah. And while he was Prince of Lucis, people always were interested in him because of the title. Besides, he promised his dad and Council no scandals and tabloids knocking at the Citadel door.

And, as he said, he only ever wanted Ignis.]

Mm? [He wriggles a bit in his lap.] You sure? You gonna make out with me on the Ferris Wheels? Maybe something more?

[His fantasies are definitively not safe.]

Oh gods. On a ferris wheel? The Insomnia Eye? Oh, Noct, come now.

[He's chuckling again, but this has a much more nervous edge to it. That's a fantasy of his? To be seen like that in public? To have sex in public? Ramuh's staff, he's going to get them both flogged.]

I suppose I was thinking...of other things. Done at home. In the comfort of a bed.

[Which just brings his bed to mind, and a very clear visual of Noctis spread out naked on it. ....Wow.]

[Noctis just shrugs, not lifting his head. He just said it as a joke, and it worked- it got Ignis chuckling again. And leaned on him like this, he can feel and hear the vibration of his voice and laugh. He closes his eyes briefly with a small sigh.]

That's why it's fantasy, you know.

[He lifts his head to look at Ignis, fingers trailing alongside his jaw and cheek, smiling softly-]

The bed is the best place to start. Maybe... shower? [Ignis with his hair down and wet, water gliding down his long neck- Noct can feel mouth go dry at the mental image.]
